Am I being harsh? Of course not. Most who would say that are not aware that this kind of thing happens on a regular basis.
The society is becoming increasingly lawless. More than ever, people have little respect for others. The riffraff see themselves as perpetual victims, it's someone else's fault or responsibility. They are entitled to get, or take, whatever they want. They are entitled to behave however they choose and the rest of us are expected to accept it (and pay for it). They teach their children to behave the same way. At some point the ride has to end.
You want to see more madness? I've tried to avoid sharing the video below, but it shows the disturbing sub-culture that is far too prevalent. I see it far too often, destroying community after community. There is no need to hide the truth. Disinfect with light. Drive conversation until something is done.
It shouldn't be necessary but I will put out the intellectual training wheels. This particular example is not intended to suggest that the problem of entitlement and ill behavior is limited to any particular group (regional, racial or otherwise). I'm talking about behavior, culture.
We need a national revolution of liberty, personal responsibility and decency.
UPDATE ON THE HERO MALL COP: Apparently people in Atlanta are aware of the trash in the community that Darrien Long has to deal with on a regular basis. The people have gone so far as to start raising money so Long can buy new equipment. Go citizens!
Additional good news is that the trashy women have been charged, one even for contributing to the delinquency of a minor (both should be charged for this). Unfortunately their kids won't be taken from them.
I know. I know. I'm so mean.
What's mean is whistling pass the graveyard of a generation.
