This is a great bit of humor from Michael Ramirez townhall.com.
The argument is not about "protecting the rich." It's about ownership and self-determination. If the property and rights of a few (even those with more) can be trampled by government, what protects the rest of us? If the majority sees no problem with the federal government continuing to expand and spend, assuming that the costs can always be passed off on others, eventually everyone will suffer when the game runs out.
