A new, simple political platform

Here's my recommendation for a new platform for the GOP. The Libertarians mostly get this already. First principles:

More individual liberty; smaller, more localized government; and global leadership through peace and trade.

I would make the recommendation to the Democrats but that party has gone off the deep end. They are vehemently opposed to what would be required for these principles. A fourth principle would be obliteration of anyone who attacks us, but neither of the two major parties seems to have a problem waging war. They just argue about when and where in order to score political points.
