Oh, and if you want to go for some truly daring, healthy treat. Try adding some spinach to a smoothie. It will give you protein along with all of those other nutrients. Here's one way I like it.
Fill your blender with the following:
- 1/2 cup pineapple (frozen preferably)
- 1/2 cup mango (frozen preferably)
- cup of orange juice (add a bit more juice if things get a bit too stiff)
- two handfuls of spinach
Drink and enjoy the goodness. Of course you could use any fruit combo. I like this with strawberries and blueberries, too.
