Emotionally stunted women

I once believed that women were emotionally expressive -- freely sharing their inner thoughts and feelings. While I have the privilege of knowing at least one woman like this, I've learned that, when it comes to many women, nothing could be farther from the truth. Some women are emotionally stunted, particularly when it comes to expressing tenderness, passion and romantic love. These same women have little problem expressing friendship, and can seem affable and intelligent. They also have little problem expressing hostility.

I'd love to get some thoughts on this, especially from other women.
