Charlie Rangel reportedly will give up the chairmanship of the House Ways and Means Committee, at least according to NBC. Rangel is drunk with power and Speaker Pelosi doesn't have the courage or the honesty to follow through on her promise of having an ethical Congress. No surprise.
The people in Rangel's district should elect someone else but too many voters don't pay attention and are more interested in goodies than in responsible government.
