Andy Stern's power over the White House

President Obama has appointed SEIU's Andy Stern to the presdiential deficit commission. What is the basis for this appointment? What expertise does Stern possess?

Stern has far too much power over the White House. He's pulling the strings of our president. Stern promised health care reform and this is why Mr. Obama is pushing so hard for it. Now he will help determine the nation's fiscal policy. This is just too much control for someone who wasn't elected by the people.

Obama's relationship with Stern is just one more reason many Americans view Mr. Obama really as a frightening, far-left idealogue, bent on "fundamentally transforming" the country into something we won't recognize and don't want.
