Republicans avoid Obama's health care summit briar patch
Republicans appear to have learned their lesson about letting President Obama use them for media props. Rather than just agreeing to show up at the proposed health care summit, they decided they'd put the White House through a test of their own. In a letter to the White House, House Minority Leader John Boehner and Minority Whip Eric Cantor (Va.) state:
