Iraq Newsflash/Dose of Truth for Obama Blindness Syndrome

Newsflash: President Barack Obama is not doing anything differently in Iraq than John McCain would have done. He is merely following the George W. Bush Status of Forces Agreement.

President Bush off on the agreement, which sets legal jurisdiction over U.S. troops and contractors and lays out timetables for withdrawal of U.S. forces in 2008.

"The SOFA calls for all U.S. forces to fall back out of Iraqi cities by June 2009 and to be out of Iraq by the end of 2011."

John McCain was just more honest than Barack Obama about what our commitment is in Iraq. We still have troops all over the world. Just look at a few places where we've had troops since the 40's and 50's.

• 31,000 South Korea

We'll easily have troops in Iraq for another 50 years. It doesn't matter which of Mr. Obama's lies were sold and bought.

There's no excuse for ignorance on this.

Oh, by the way...where's Code Pink and all of the other extremists? We're still in Iraq, but you don't hear anything much do you? At least the media isn't covering it. Now do you notice the bias?

Now you might get why some of us get sick of the hype over ykw. All did it from childhood and overcame vicious, brutal racism. They had their demons but never abused others and weren't ashamed of who/what they were.

Losing them was awful, not recognizing them is tragic.
