Apology for Slavery Nonsense

The U.S. Senate passed a resolution apologizing for slavery and segregation. There the politicians go again with their patronizing nonsense. This kind of foolishness is just a pathetic attempt at manipulation. Maybe it works on the simple-minded among us.

I'm sure all of the thugs are putting their guns down now. Test scores in the inner city have just skyrocketed. Illegitimate births among black people suddenly dropped from 70%. There's no more poverty. No more pain. No more suffering. The U.S. Senate just apologized.
Flashback Friday - The Liberation of Iraq

Despite the revisionist lies of the extreme Leftists and Bush-haters who celebrate the trouble America faced later in Iraq, this footage shows that Iraqis did in fact welcome us as liberators.

The proper analysis of Iraq should be more about the mistakes made POST-liberation (dissolution of the military, firing of all government officials, and not killing Muqtada al-Sadr). Had those thing been done properly, we could have avoided a lot of trauma and we probably wouldn't have one of those dishonest extreme Left ideologues in the White House right now.

I'm Only Going After Them

It's flashback Friday and I received a comment on this post about President Obama's promise to only stick it to the rich. So, I thought I'd bring it back. It's also timely to re-post it since we're already starting to see that it's not just the rich who will have to pay for all of the new big-government programs.
