No Money in National Highway Fund?!?!?! New Gas Tax???
The Obama Administration recently announced that the national highway fund will go broke by August. How crazy is this?

• First, the Democrats pushed through an $819 BILLION so-called stimulus plan. We were told that the money would go toward projects like U.S. roads and bridges that, unlike Chinese roads and bridges, were all collapsing and falling into complete disrepair. Somehow no money was put into the highway fund.

• Then, in March, President Obama signed another $410 billion spending package, containing contained 7,991 earmarks totaling $5.5 billion. Again, though it had money for everything else under the sun, no money was put into the highway fund.

• Now in a move that is like something out of a bad comedy movie, the federal transportation department says they need, guess how much, $5 Billion to $10 Billion!!!! They compound the absurdity, by wanting to raise gas taxes another $.10 a gallon for gas and $.15 for diesel to put money into the highway fund.
  

You simply cannot make this stuff up! Amazingly, the American sheeple are totally, blissfully ignorant of their circumstances.

This is the meaning of change. Poor decisions. Naivete. Complete lack of understanding the impact of their actions. Out of control government growth. Raking you over the coals.

North Dakota leads the nation in economic prosperity. The state has done something that our federal government should try, cutting taxes. Individuals and businesses received about $100 million in income-tax cuts.

Of course most people haven't heard about it because the mainstream media doesn't consider it so offensive. However, if Rush Limbaugh or some conservative had suggested that women on the political left be raped, all hell would have broken loose.

NASA: Solar Activity Responsible for Global Warming
Hmm...Well a new NASA study has revealed that the sun is responsible for global warming, not man. This is problematic on so many fronts.

Okay, I thought it wasn't global warming anymore. It's cliiiiiimate change. The global warming moniker stopped working. But hey, the planet is slightly warmer in some areas so there has to be an answer. Well other scientists have said solar activity was the cause before but they've been shunned but the establishment.

Would a NASA study dissuade the faithful? Nah, of course not. No doubt that this scientist will have his chain yanked soon.

The whole global warming thing is an anti-capitalist cover, scam and a scare tactic to give government more control of our lives.

Global warming could not be controlled, even if we destroyed the US economy and lived like the loony luddite Islamic fascists (IFs). Speaking of IFs, the Left doesn't have any real fear of them. They're just boogie men made up by crazy neocons. Riiight.

Where's The Freaking Stimulus?
More and more I see economists and business leaders backing off of their projections that the economy would come out of recession by the third quarter. Unfortunately, a recent survey of CFOs reveals a belief that the recession will go into next year.

I actually heard about a likely recovery before Obama Pelosi Reid American Socialism Plan (OPRASP) Phase I was passed. So, if OPRASP isn't having a short term effect what good was it, especially since the Congressional Budget Office has said that it would hurt the economy in the long term?

What's to come of that $800 billion dollars that was supposed to make the sun shine, put a song in the heart of every bird, and put everyone back to work?

Wouldn't this money have more of an immediate stimulative effect by going into the hands of real people and businesses? I would have even gone for a big fat welfare check to all adults over this.

Plus, nothing has been done to address the so-called housing crisis that started all of the turmoil, except an $8,000 gimme to people who don't need to sell a home and who have money to buy a new house.
