DEAR ABBY: My 20-year-old daughter, "Marissa," is self-centered, lies compulsively and does not consider the consequences of her actions.
She has been diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder.
It's scary that this condition seems to be spreading.

So she behaves like your average 20 year old. Big whoop!
True. And yet sadly like some 30 year olds, too.
Then we can look at some of our elected officials (Pelosi, Obama, Reid, Sanford).
You make me laugh. And after I finished my comment, I thought, it's one thing for a 20-something to display such behavior, but something infinitely more disturbing for a 30 or 40-something (my age) to engage in the same behavior, because his actions may be more damaging to himself and others. P.S. Love the Langston Hughes poem and thanks for your support of Dr. Walter Williams. He and Tom Sowell definitely appear to have their heads screwed on straight!
