A homeowner in Flint, Michigan apparently took on a couple of predators who were breaking into his home. The homeowner reportedly wrestled control of the gun and sent one of the thugs into the great beyond (celestial dirtnap, toes up, off to meet his maker). Score one for the home team! Too bad one got away.
A few quotes jump out at me from this news clip.
Reporter: "the latest man to die from gun violence."
How about the latest to die from thuggery and the hip hop mentality? The gun was the tool but it's not the problem. Mentality, culture and a vaccuum of responsibilty are more responsible for the deaths.
Lady: "These are our young black mens(sic) and womens(sic) in the street getting killed."
Yes ma'am. These are our young black men and women getting killed but also they are the ones doing the killing! Change the victim mindset and get angry about the predators. Demand police do what they can. Turn in people who commit crimes.
City councilman, himself a recent victim of crime:"I'm sick of it."
Yes sir. We ARE sick of the generation of entitlement, violence and thuggery.
By the way, look at the freaks questioning whether their loved one "deserved" to die. Um...he's breaking into a man's house with a gun. Of course he deserves it.
