Black Women and Racist Attitudes

"You can't trust white women."

What makes black women think it's okay to make such statements?

This kind of talk suggests some things that just aren't true.

• Black women don't react violently to infidelity? Some do. Some don't.
  
• Black women don't cheat? Trust me, they do.

Somehow black women feel free to make blanket statements about white women that they would never tolerate themselves.

Why is this okay? Why is it tolerated?
