ZerObama
Ahhh...a new nickname. Not to be nasty and this nickname doesn't have to be.

I think it aptly represents what Senator ZerObama stands for when it comes to what's best for America. I'll give him credit for his calls for greater responsibility and parental involvement. That truly needs to be said. But it's kinda hard to swallow that after hearing him say that he's wants to relieve people of the responsibility for their poor decisions (interest only mortgages, cars they can't afford, kids they can't care for, etc). Calls for responsibility ring hollow when Senator Obama blames every poor person's problems on the fact that rich people have too much and American corporations actually make profits and give dividends to their shareholders.

ZerObama also fits when it comes to the senator's grasp of military conflict.

Wait...that makes me think of something else...this idiocy that John McCain doesn't want to bring our troops home as quickly and safely as possible. Who comes up with this crap?

No one wants our service men and women home safely sooner than someone who has served in military conflict in a foreign country. John McCain has children over there. Sarah Palin's son will soon be in Iraq. Do people who say this stupid stuff actually think about it before it spews from their mouths? Our troops must come home. They will come home. But it's better that they come home with heads held high than with their tails between their legs. It's better that they leave Iraq intact rather than in shambles.

McCain's Iraq surge wisdom has proven correct. He gets it. The prudent use of military force is sometimes necessary in a dangerous world. McCain has been there and I'm sure he grasps the gravity of putting the lives of young people at risk. Obama hasn't been there and still doesn't get it.

Joe Biden(an opponent of the surge who brilliantly advised dividing Iraq into 3 separate nations) makes the repeated statement that there was no exit strategy in Iraq. Of course there was.

ZerObama isn't saying anything different than what President Bush has always said. The troops will come home when the Iraqi government and military can stand independently. That's not NEW. That's not some great wisdom from Il Dulce. No one is coming over to his side. The surge worked. Violence is down. The Iraqi government it taking control. Our work will be done soon. Our troops will come home. That has always been the plan.

By the way, what was the exit strategy for any war that's ever been fought in the history of mankind? WIN!

The U.S. doesn't add countries it conquers as states(contrary to what leftists like to say we don't have an empire). We have to make sure they're stable before we leave, especially when they sit on the amount of natural resources (yes, oil) that Iraq possesses. I say again: After all the bellyaching over gas being $4/gallon what would happen at $10/gallon gas.

Here's my challenge. If ZerObama wants to talk exit strategy, then come up with one for Afhganistan.
